Yesterday I wanted to go wakeboarding, but it started raining so J called me and told me it’s cancelled. Why can’t we wakeboard when it’s raining?
Â
I know why, because water is slippery when wet.

I know I’m bored.

Was just looking through my music collection and found the songs that I used to listen to. Does bring back some nice memories…
Â
1) Smile – Butterfly (remember that DDR1 song that goes like… “ah ya yee ya… i’m your little butterfly”! I bet they use this song for interrogating terrorists… no wonder they escape. follow the link to the youtube video… unbelievable! Used to hear this everywhere! Irritating but entertaining.)
Â
2) Vengaboys – Boom Boom Boom (During NS, I remembered once we were on course and was stuck in camp for a couple of nights. Some of the guys went to the mess for karaoke sessions and started singing along to this. I have no idea where they got the videos from, but it’s damn funny when they dance to it! Subsequently, they called themselves the V2 boys:P)
Â
3) Aqua – Barbie Girl (When I first bought the album, I drove to Zouk, wound down my window and blasted the song really loud… I think they played that for awhile… “life in plastic is fantastiiiiiiiiiiiiiiic!!)
Â
4) Vanilla Ice – Ice Ice Baby (Believe it or not, I used to have his MTV on video tape… this one rocks:P I think along with MC Hammer, they started the baggy pants culture)
Â
5) China Dolls – “Single Eyelid Girl” – Thai version (Reminds me of the good times we had in Thailand. My friend went played this song off a jukebox in a foodcourt. Once the intro came on, all of us pretended we didn’t know him, it’s damn embarassing. But then, we grew to like that song and I bought the album before we left for Singapore. The chinese version was a runaway hit in Singapore months later).
Â
Bonus track) Live on Release – I’m afraid of Britney Spears (I just love the lyrics… yea, I’m afraid of Britney too. Although I thought her first album was pretty nice)

RSM = Repair Service Maintenance
Â
That sums up my day today. Spent the day buying parts at Sim Lim Square to fix up my harddisks. Finally got them all up and running. New keyboard (black looks less gross after use:P) for my main PC and a cordless one for the living room (now the daybed will finally be put into good use!). Sent my helicopter for repair (the dogs will get some peace finally).
Â
In evening, I joined Kelvin and Eng Hong for court soccer at East Coast’s “cage”. Not bad at all, although it comes a little pricey at S$90 per hour. Especially when we didn’t have enough players. At one point in time, we were just kicking the ball around aimlessly. The guys out there must be thinking, these guys must be very rich, pay S$90/hr to kick around. Only towards the last half hour did we get some real action going on after we “loaned” some players from another team. I’m so looking forward to the next game:D

Gabriel showed me this link which I thought was quite interesting. It claims to determine if you are a left or right brain user. When I saw the image, it always turns clockwise, which means I use more of my right brain. I wasn’t convinced, I thought it must be a hoax, so I got my housemate to see it. He saw anti clockwise, then clockwise, then anti clockwise… etc and it’s driving him mad. So it looks like a real test. And we found out later that, if you concentrate on the shadow of the legs, you can actually “toggle” the direction change:P

The Right Brain vs Left Brain testÂ
Â
And if you only see the silhouette of a naked woman… you are not using your brain:P

After having extremely late dinner last night, I dozed off in front of the TV. Halfway through my sleep, Tammy came up and put her head on my chest. Such a darling:D Only if I can keep her. Those coming next Monday will get to see her 😀
Â
Â

 Â
Â
Going to take a nap now… getting sleepy…
Â
Â
Ok, since everyone’s talking about valentine’s day, I had mine too. And it was pretty… hmmm… scandalous:P I had Tammy to stay over my place for a couple days and yes, she’s spending Valentine’s Day with me and the boys:D We took some pictures… and had a rather explicit video clip taken as well. Here goes…

My laptop decided to be a desktop, because the battery is no longer working. Good on ya, no more meetings at Coffee Beans:D Now… should I buy a new battery to revive a 2 year old laptop or buy a new laptop to replace this 2 year old “desktop” 😀 Let’s consult the “包åƒå¤šå¤šè®¡ç®—机”.

After my “sumptuous” breakfast, I decided to skip lunch to save some space for the reunion dinner. Reunion dinner is always nice. We hardly sit down as a whole family to have dinner nowadays with so much individual commitments. I miss that warm and cosy feeling surrounding the dinner table that I used to take it for granted.
Â
After leaving my parent’s place, I went home and spent some time chilling out with friends and somehow we started playing Chor Dai Dee. Can’t remember when was the last time I played, I guess it must’ve been some time because I felt a little retarded sorting out the cards. That went on till 4am… got a little hungry so we had Bak Kwa (again!).
Â
What’s Chinese New Year without new year songs right? So I pulled out my collection (well, just 2 actually) of CNY songs. My favourite has to be this medley (ok, the Ah Bengs call it MEGAMIX)Â by Twins. Pretty cool stuff, techno and upbeat!:D You probably can tell that the 881 bug hasn’t really left:P
Â
“æå–œæå–œæå–œæå–œæå–œä½ å‘€… æå–œæå–œæå–œæå–œä½ å‘€… … 财神到! (huat ah!) 财神到! (huat ah!)”
Â
Bet if they play it in a disco (now known as CLUBS), the Bengs will add “huat ah” somewhere in between the songs. Berry nice, I like!:D
