Shaving woes

Last week, I found the stubbles getting abit too long, so I decided to trim them down to the standard 1mm before heading out. Halfway through the chin, the shaver stopped. No matter what I did, it just didn’t wake up from the dead. Batt’s ok, the mechanical parts just didn’t connect. Although it wasn’t very obvious, but I could still see that it’s not balanced. Damn… I have to use the normal shaver and try my best to make it look abit balanced. Well, it wasn’t too bad. No one noticed, or maybe, they just didn’t say it:P Later on that day, I went to buy another one.

Sunset

When I noticed the wall behind my monitor turn into gold… I remembered saying I want to take the sunset.

Mother’s Day

Yesterday, while I was out with my mum and discussing about purchasing some stuff. Then she went… (in mandarin), “I need to check if that’s within my budget (in english)…” I was shocked!! Where did that come from? I mean, my mum doesn’t speak english and now she’s telling me she has a budget! I was so surprised I laughed abit and asked her… who taught her that? She gave me that sheepish grin and said… “don’t know, just heard people saying it.”

While driving home that day, the scene kept repeating itself in my mind. Then I recalled when I was younger and learning how to ride a bike, I used to hear them saying… “ta bu-rake!!” (meaning… step on the brakes, more applicable for cars actually). And somehow, I picked that up as well. And I still remember my parents laughing at me when they heard me screaming across the corridor to my neighbour, “TA BU-RAAAAAAAKE!!”:P They’ll go… “now he knows how to use ta-bu-rake!!” oh well… it’s just one of those memories of the corridor days:)

Happy Mother’s Day! Love you mum!:)

Ead Ease

I was browsing through the hundreds of rejects I took in Taipei and found this one… how did I miss this?:P So after doing some post processing, I decided to put it up here… and I started thinking about captions (in an extremely lame mood)… so here are some of the rejects,

- Ead last! we’re in Taipei!

- What are you looking Ead?

- Ead most, I pay you for this photo:P

I know I know… I’ll have to look out for a black car when I cross the road from today onwards:P And please don’t kill me… Ead most I’ll print it for free!!:P

re re

I know I haven’t been posting for a while. It’s been a crazy week so far. Me leaving the comforts of my ex-engineering company to venture into photography. It may be a strange decision to most. 3 years ago, when I started doing wedding photography on a part time basis, I remembered telling a friend, saying “who knows, maybe 3 years down the road, I’ll be doing this full time?”. Now we know… “东西可以乱吃,话不可以乱说”.

Okie, not as if I’m not happy with my decision to turn full time:) It’s rock and roll time! I’m going to have lunch later and churn up my computing bytes!
