Some light after the rain

It’s been raining like mad these days.

Great weather during a rainy season

The weather in Singapore is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you gonna get.  On a good day like this, we could play football after the shoot, which we did.

Super Trees

An awesome night with friends and ending up shooting the sunrise at Gardens by the Bay. We can definitely do this again soon!

I can really get used to waking up early in the morning

3 rainy mornings in a row and we had to draw up contingency plans (which wasn’t really that wet weather friendly) for the shoot. But the clouds cleared and we had a good shoot in the morning. The rain only came pouring 30mins before the end of the day. Since I don’t usually work on shooting days, I decided that a game of basketball in the rain was the right thing to do. What a good day:)

My first mountain

And it’s Mount Batur in Bali. I didn’t go all the way to the peak, but this view was pretty much good enough for me, for now. I have to say, I really enjoyed the climb and am hoping to do more of these hikes.

The great leap forward!

I see them in videos all the time. But seeing so many of them in real life in the wild… woohoo!!:D

Raymond and Angeline

No weddings are the same. But some are more ‘not the same’ than others. I always believe that the wedding should reflect who you are. This is perhaps one of the most dramatic weddings I have ever shot.  Oh before you scroll down, I have to warn you that this might change your impression of gatecrashing forever.

The first signs that this is going to be a very different wedding.

And the boys came in a bus.

The kopi kias.

The Ru Huas.

The reception.

And they did their ‘victory rounds’ around the neighbourhood.

I was supposed to hold the ladies up while the boys secretly prepared to return the favour with gatecrash part 2. So that’s what we did.

Lester, the only bridesman greeting Raymond’s mum.

A rainy sunny wedding day

I know it’s a good day when it rains when I’m indoors and the sun shines when I’m outdoors. I know I said I will not go to Marina Barrage at mid noon. But the nice cloud cover did a little magic to help. Thanks!:D
