New Year, same old things:D

After my “sumptuous” breakfast, I decided to skip lunch to save some space for the reunion dinner. Reunion dinner is always nice. We hardly sit down as a whole family to have dinner nowadays with so much individual commitments. I miss that warm and cosy feeling surrounding the dinner table that I used to take it for granted.

After leaving my parent’s place, I went home and spent some time chilling out with friends and somehow we started playing Chor Dai Dee. Can’t remember when was the last time I played, I guess it must’ve been some time because I felt a little retarded sorting out the cards. That went on till 4am… got a little hungry so we had Bak Kwa (again!).

What’s Chinese New Year without new year songs right? So I pulled out my collection (well, just 2 actually) of CNY songs. My favourite has to be this medley (ok, the Ah Bengs call it MEGAMIX) by Twins. Pretty cool stuff, techno and upbeat!:D You probably can tell that the 881 bug hasn’t really left:P

“恭喜恭喜恭喜恭喜恭喜你呀… 恭喜恭喜恭喜恭喜你呀… … 财神到! (huat ah!) 财神到! (huat ah!)”

Bet if they play it in a disco (now known as CLUBS), the Bengs will add “huat ah” somewhere in between the songs. Berry nice, I like!:D

I’m sinned…

I had 1kg of bak kwa (chicken sliced) for breakfast… Last I weigh, i’m 62kg (ok, I have HEAVY bones… some say bigger brain), now that makes me 1/63 a chicken…

Happy Lunar New Year! :D

May the year of the hamster brings peace and prosperity to all.

New year new toy

While I was contemplating getting a Ricoh GRII, news of Sigma’s new release (DP1) stopped me. This new gadget looks like it’s worth waiting a while more before I decide. It says, “14 megapixel high definition digital camera, packing the full spec. of a DSLR into the body of a compact camera”. I imagine myself carrying 2 of these shooting a wedding, woohoo!! just kidding ya…:P Now… only if it comes with a F2.8 lens… yum yum!!:D

Joyce and Ranggau

It was a very different kind of game when it comes to gatecrashing at Joyce and Ranggau’s wedding. Instead of the usual action, these guys practically talked their way through. When negotiation fail, go get a drink at the mama shop. Without time limit, they managed to get into the house in an hour, talking their way through the games. I mean, who wear underwears on their wrists?! Ok, having alot of cash helps:) I always believe, if money can solve a problem, let money do it:D

What’s up over the past week

Ok, besides moaning over the increase in ERP (which actually doesn’t affect me too much), petrol prices and lousy drivers, I’ve been, erm rather happy. First, my sleek 37 inch LCD TV arrived and I’ve been playing with it for awhile. Can’t believe I’ve been watching the same movies over and over again… (with Samsung… it’s not too hard to imagine:P) hehehe. You can probably tell I’m TV deprived for quite awhile.

After talking about it for, erm… 8 months? I finally put up some frames of my travel images on the wall, all by MYSELF. Ok, I can’t help but feel a little proud about it. Going to add more after CNY.

Fast and Furious!

As expected, Mr Brown’s reply to ERP increase:P Looks like I can change my mobile phone ringtone to this modified version:P Berry the Ah Beng, but I like:P
