Zn and Amandi

“Oh Zn…”… in my mind I was like… “…what?”. So I found out during the wedding that Sze Ying is the name (Zn for short). That was my first impression of the couple. Amandi did their own mini pre-wedding themselves and I have to say, I love the photos he took when I saw them at the wedding. The wedding is just so them, from the choice of shoes, deco, down to the customs. Everything that’s normal has been thrown out, that’s the wedding and a very enjoyable and refreshing one:D

Clarissa and Michael

I always remember Michael and Clarissa, because they were the only couple who ordered beer during our first meeting:) I was tempted to, but thought, neh… But I agreed to meet up before the wedding for a drink though. Eventually, we met up at Ice Cold Beer a few days before the wedding for a drink + discussion. On the day itself, Mike was a little nervous and I lost count on the number of beers he had before the solemnization to calm his nerves. Good thing he could hold his liquor really well:) I don’t know if it’ll be different without all that alcohol, but I know the couple and their guests were really fun people… I’m sure the after lunch party was even more crazy (the last sms he sent me smells of alcohol… so I guess, it must’ve been good:P).

Elaine and Ming

A week before their solemnization at Amara Sanctuary Resort, Elaine told me she’s busy punching confetti. I was like, “what?”. But I saw the fruits of her labour when I reached the venue. The decoration was very well done up, little details personalized and wedding favours personally wrapped by her. I was most impressed (more so when I saw a seat reserved with a placard with my name on it) 😀

Here’s the slideshow of their solemnization:)

Sze Min and Garreth

My memories of Sze Min and Garreth,

– Pacific Coffee

– Red Dot Musuem

– I was late (can’t remember why)

– Garreth sent me room service menu 2 weeks before wedding

– First time I ordered anything other than sandwich (I took Nasi Lemak)

– They had reception boys, not girls!

– Intercontinental ballroom rocks!:D

– I love their wedding, although I was completely wasted by the end of it. Used my reserve energy to drive home.

Alritie, here’s the slideshow:D

Joyce and Ranggau

It was a very different kind of game when it comes to gatecrashing at Joyce and Ranggau’s wedding. Instead of the usual action, these guys practically talked their way through. When negotiation fail, go get a drink at the mama shop. Without time limit, they managed to get into the house in an hour, talking their way through the games. I mean, who wear underwears on their wrists?! Ok, having alot of cash helps:) I always believe, if money can solve a problem, let money do it:D

Daisy and Chua

The last wedding slideshow of 2007. The wedding was held in Conrad, Bali. I’ve heard alot about that place and true enough, the chapel is really pretty. I was a little worried before heading there, with reports of torrential rains hitting many parts of Indonesia, including Bali. I guess, luck was with them as it turned out bright and sunny on the day of the wedding day:D Oh well, they have a fun bunch of guest there. When the music started, many of them got up and did line dancing on the dancefloor. Way cool!:D

jocE and clarencE

A small dinner with friends. I must say the couple has some very talented friends that came up with a song about their courtship. Not forgetting the fantastic speech by the best man. I like Jocelyn’s opening speech best though… both Jocelyn and Clarence went on stage and she took over the mic and said… “Let’s eat!!”. Woohoo, i like!!:D

Maddy and Toby

The most animated groom of year 2007 award goes to Toby. Well, the 2 huge ear studs help alot:D I’m glad I didn’t leave after most of the guests have left. As the chinese will put it… “好料沉底”. The fun always begin after dinner:D
