7th July 2007, the hottest date for weddings this year. Every wedding photographer I know is being booked for this date, so was I. But due to some unforseen changes, I am now free on this date again:) I’m not sure if that’s a bad thing at all, but I figured, well… wouldn’t it be nice if everyone in the industry is working while I sit back and have some beer… probably watch the swarm of bridal cars zooming down Orchard Road:)

Reunited with home:)

Finally home:) Suddenly felt relieve that the holiday is over. Taipei is nice, but perhaps, it’s just not suitable for me as a travel destination. Not for 8 days. Without the company of Ron, Serene and Ead, I probably would have died of boredom (not to mention hunger too). But then again, at times, I really prefer to have time on my own, just to be myself, just to feel alone.

This trip allowed me to explore alot more about myself. Alot learned, alot discovered. Not that bad afterall.

Last post before we head back.

3 more hours and we’ll be heading to the airport (try to make it a point to be there at least 2.5 hours before the flight… I’ve had enough sub 20 mins check ins already.). Looking back, this trip is pretty boring, but then, a light dosage of boredom can relax the body and mind.

Yesterday, we climbed (yes, that’s what they say… the elevator climbs…) Taipei 101. The view is like any other viewing platforms. It’s boring, but it’s addictive. It’s the like the Hard Rock Cafe shot glass symptom, once you start collecting, it’s not going to stop. Same for these viewing platforms, once you’ve been to one, you’ll want to see every city you visit in one of these. So far, here’s the list I’ve “conquered”,

1) NYC

2) Auckland (Sky Tower)

3) Sydney (AMP Tower)

4) LA

5) Singapore

6) Taipei

7) Guilin, China

8) Beijing, China

Ok… lunch first… it’s super duper cold out there… must be sub-10 deg…

… *yawns*…

Another boring day of shopping. It’s the same old routine, shopping, eating, night markets… I just wished I didn’t travel thousands of miles for this. Not 7 days in a row. Anyway, Star Movies is showing “Castaway”, looks more interesting.

Another holiday

Enough of eye candies, enough of good food. I just wanna go home, do my laundry, pack my room, make my bed, go wakeboarding and drink new-water. Taipei’s nice, like hotspring baths. But like hotsprings, you can’t stay in it for too long. Today the temperature dipped, possibly due to the rain last night. It was gloomy for the entire day, just like Germany in winter. Nice. But the thought of going home kept bugging me. I think I need another holiday. Erm, Singapore?

Just another day in Taipei

Way of life in Danshui

While waiting for the rest of the guys to wake up (I suppose), I decided to do up another image.
