While waiting for the rest of the guys to wake up (I suppose), I decided to do up another image.

The nice thing about being on this trip is… we all don’t wake up till 11-ish:) So yesterday, we only headed out for Danshui around 2plus. By the time we reached Danshui, the late afternoon sunlight has already painted the entire town in shades of gold, unlike the usually bluish hue we see in Taipei City. It felt like it was 8am in the morning.
Â
Here’s a shot taken while waiting for the sunset (which was ooooooooooooookie, not too bad).

Â
…and you guess, what’s this?:) One of the most common objects in Taipei.
Â
Â

Â
Yesterday, we roamed the streets of Taipei like… erm, tourists:) Visited the famous Shi Lin night market and tried the insanely hot chilli noodles. While Ead and Ron chose the REALLY mild ones, I decided to go for the 2nd hottest on the list. The owner immediately ask if we’re from Singapore. True enough, the noodles burned both my tongue and stomach. I had a hard time going to sleep that night. It’s pretty close to level 5 buffalo wings at Sunset Grill (Singapore) or maybe more.
Â
I bought my first BoA CD:) It’s a little cheaper here I think, about 15SGD. Then today I got 2 Elva CDs:) Yum yum!!
Â
Here’s a shot of the fellas at the… “can’t seem to grab anything for 80NT” shop.

We are all well and fine in Taipei. Weather’s good. Food’s good. The view is… *feeeeeeel wheet*. Something I learned here, smoking can be good (the only advantage I found). It’s a good way to start a conversation… “can borrow light?”… “oh… you don’t sound local, where are you from?”… Too bad, I don’t smoke.
Â
And thanks for Ead, I found a BoA pictorial. Cost me like 60+ SGD. Money well spent, very well spent!:) Before that, we had some good BBQ buffet at Bistro 98.
Â
And now, me and Ead are stuck in the hotel room… because we realized we could tap some internet connection off “don’t know where”. Damn… it’s almost 8pm. Time to wake Ron up and grab some dinner.
Â
Did my first pre-wedding well… trial shoot, just for fun:) Had a long long day with Chris and Jasmine out in the sun… and was duly rewarded with a pretty nice sunset, not to mention the ever so cooperative wind:) Here’s an image from the shoot.

Few more hours to go before we (Ron, Ms Clover, Ead and me) head for Taipei. I don’t think I’m sleeping much tonight. So much to do, and not a single piece of clothing packed yet. Yes, better check my passport as well.
Â
We had drinks earlier with Ngiap Heng, whom we all have not met for quite some time. Maybe we all should meet up more often. As I said before, photographers should meet up more often:) Sometimes, we grow old faster than we think. Being happy with people with the same passion does help slow down this aging process. I’m taking an hour off my sleep, to think about people around me and how they made a difference to my life.
