Oldie

Had a pet portrait session early this morning. 3dogs, 2 cameras, 1 guy. Good thing they were not too difficult to handle. 11 year old Oldie look realÂ photogenic. Reminds me of characters in Asterix.

PARIS – Small dogs, especially dachshunds, are likelier to attack strangers and other dogs compared with pit bulls, rottweilers and other macho breeds, a study published on Wednesday revealed.

Â
Researchers in the United States surveyed owners of 30 breeds of dogs to assess how the pets responded toÂ a variety of common stimuli and situations.

Â
Dachshunds, chihuahuas and Jack Russell terriers topped the list for aggressiveness, while Brittany spaniels, greyhounds and whippets were the most docile.

The study appears in Applied Animal Behaviour Science, a journal published by the Dutch group Elsevier. AFP
