revving up the engines
After a mild disruption last week, the photo editing machine is back in order. Spent the entire day meeting clients and did up some albums. It’s always nice to end the day doing something more personal. Looking back at those images I took the past week is like a walk down memory lane. This boy is just too cute.
天下没不散的宴席
All good things have to come to an end. At least it’s the end for this episode. The entire family had an extremely enjoyable 2 weeks together. As always, whenever he settles down, it’s time for him to leave. At the airport, he refused to go through immigration, so his dad had to carry him in. While the immigration officers were attending to the parents at the counter, he ran back towards the window to say goodbye again before running back. The immigration officers just smiled. For us, it’s all mixed feelings. Really hope to see him back here soon.
The boy at two and the half
He’ll be heading back to Sydney on Saturday. Time flies when you’re having fun. But it has been an awesome 8 days so far.

Amused
Ah… so that’s how it felt to be on the other side of the camera. After finishing up the family portraits for my (ex)housemate and his family, I got to carry baby Isaac. And they were busy making Isaac smile and the picture of 3 adults doing a “peek-a-boo” action in unison is just way too funny. Alright, it was fun. And credits to Eugene for the photo. See, anybody can shoot:)
Oh yes, let not my mum see this. Else, I’m gonna get a earful of nagging again.
kids that rock part 2
Hello folks! It’s the end of the year. Managed to keep to the deadlines and did my last wedding of the year today. It was awesome! Having activities packed back to back, I barely had time to reflect what has gone past in the last 12 months. I guess I’ll have to do that and the new year resolutions at the new place. So what’s in store for the new year. On New Year’s day itself will be shopping, shopping and more shopping for stuff needed for the new place. And yes, I can’t wait to move in!:D
A note to all my clients from the past year, I can’t thank you guys enough for your patience and support. Words cannot express (maybe can, but my vocab is lousy) what I feel about you guys. Big wedding, small wedding, above water, under water… you guys rock!:D
Here’s wishing everyone a very Happy New Year and a great year ahead! Keep the passion burning! In work and in love:D
And here’s one reason why you should have kids. They rock!:D
kids that rock part 1
Milk… what milk?:D
Chill guys, it’s under adult supervision. I guess, we all celebrate the same way, young or old.
Adeline and Idana
Recently I did a shoot for Adeline and her family. Adeline is Sheila’s (whom I did their wedding back in 2006 in Penang) cousin. It was a really last minute arrangement but it all turned out well. I realized I’ve met her parents a couple of times during my trips to Penang. Her four year old daughter is a joy to work with too:) Here are some images from the shoot.

Finally managed to compile the video of Julius. Everyone at home misses him. I just love to hear him talk/blabber. Such a funny dude.
Singapore #3
Just about a month and the half ago, Julius made his 3rd trip back to Singapore. Before that, he spent about a week in Bali. I remembered when he first saw us in the airport, I was greeted with a real grumpy baby. I was like, what happened to my nephew? Until they told me he was sick in Bali and had just woken up after the flight. Very soon, he settled in with the family and every single day, he is testing new limits. Unlike the last trips, he can now “baby talk”, walk and doesn’t cry that much anymore. I could spend an entire afternoon watching him do his stuff.
Last week, I ordered a Mac Mini for my parents and hooked up a webcam so that they can see/talk to my nephew. We finally did our first live chat with my sister and Julius last night. It was amazing. When the video came on, the joy on everyone’s faces is just priceless. Julius on the other hand, looked a little shocked at what’s happening. But very soon, he started recongizing faces… first to go was “kaku” (me), then “gong gong” (grandpa), “por por” (grandma). My dad was especially happy to see him.
Haven’t seen my parents so happy for a long time. It was, imo, the perfect Father’s Day present:)
Here are some images taken during his last trip.

Ouch! the family portrait.
We spent a good evening at the Singapore Flyer last night. All 3 generations of us:P Julius was so hyper and was running all over the capsule. He seemed to be so excited over the lights in the city. He’s such a happy kid. Simply love that smile. I got a feeling, I’ll be making a trip to Sydney some time this year.

hey dude, that’s my drink!:P
Going through some of Norman and Amy’s images and saw this one. I took this image out of “pettiness”. That WAS my drink… before he made it his:P Simple images with stories behind them. Not only am I writing someone else’s story, I am writing mine as well. I love my job.
