To start of my return to blogging (heh heh heh)… here’s a wedding from not too long ago. Lovely couple. I like them not only because they bought me beer
but because we share the same love for beer as well.
During a conversation the night before, I asked Kalyn if she could hang up the gown somewhere before the day began. Then I said something like, ‘it’s ok if there’s nowhere to hang it’. I guess… I was wrong.
The last word of advice. I’m always listening even though I’m shooting. It’s life lessons.
Most of us were amused at how tickled this groomsman was when he got his pinky licked during the gatecrashing games.
Writing chinese characters can be hard for many, using the mouth to hold the brush and write is another level. Think about the level of coordination.
Kah Kheng’s classic forehead slap.
Bridal party. Check out the guys’s legs. Woohoo!
Together they are KKK:)
Beautiful light that morning. Hot like mad though, but we managed to get the shots and got into the car with aircon at full blast!
If you haven’t been there already, Pasir Ris Park is an awesome place to pak tor. Love this shot of them:)
Something random but I was amused. The reds, the eye contact from the girl to the elderly man and the family portrait back at me. It’s almost 3D if you can imagine. The kind of shots that work for me.
Right outside Kalyn’s house. I never knew the pavement can be so nice. Who needs to go to the UNESCO site when you have this everywhere in SG.
Empress place. Very nice fried rice.
The decor is beautiful. Check them out! Fusion chinese food I think.
Beautiful evening light before the ceremony.
I was actually taking a photo of the set up when the couple and their entourage decided to walk past. The space between them was perfect and how they are positioned like the buildings in the background.
The flower girls reading the groom’s vows. Get the flower girls to hold the vows and the page boy to hold the rings as they walk down the aisle. Take this idea. You are welcomed:)
A candid moment before the ceremony.
From far, it looks like they are throwing little light spheres.
Here we go, the man of the match and the MVP. You know as I’m typing this, I feel like the commentator for live soccer feeds:D:D:D Honestly though, it’s like a walk down memory lane.
Flower girl showering the couple with petals.
So it begins.
Solemnization against the beautiful backdrop of our CBD. The weather was merciful that day given that it is a truly wet year.
Typically during a ceremony, I pray for no surprises. But part of me always want some… and here we go, KK getting a little emo there during the vows.
Someone’s obviously very happy with the ring:)
I can’t claim credit for this as they wanted this shot, so I did it. Good to learn something new!:)
I was able to catch a glimpse of the sunset. First thing that came to mind was… where’s my drone!
And the happy couple enters the door… sounds like a Suzanne Vega song I know.
Watching the very impressive wedding day highlights by Red String Video Co.
The start of many speeches. From the expressions, you can guess how it went:D
See that? Noooooooooo.
Groom’s dad getting a little emotional during the speeches.
The kind of photos that you will look back years down the road and bring some tears.
Giving the new family member a hug.
The night is still young even though I’ve been standing for close to 6 hours straight.
