Photographing an assignment is a little like running a marathon. Not that I know how it feels, so maybe a 2.4km run. The last shot before the light fades away is like the last 100m dash. There’s no time for ‘if I’m ready or if there’s an ant biting me’. My eyes running all over the frame checking if everything is in place and hope for the best when the button is pressed. After the last shot was fired, I went straight for my ice cold lemon tea. The feeling of surviving and dying combined into one. I’m sure you know what I mean if you did your 2.4km run before. Since I no longer have to do my 2.4km run, this is as close as it gets to that feeling.
